The Delaware Senior Olympics softball tournament was very successful with 5 teams participating. It was a perfect day for softball. After some major preparations to the fields due to slippery conditions as a result of the rain, we were able to continue play. The SeaGals actually played 4 games while the other teams played 3 games each The Stingrays went from worst to first in capturing the Delaware State Champion tile in a close battle. The Alley Cats played on despite a covid breakout within their team members. The Golden Glove Girls were so excited in receiving their first ever Gold Medal. All teams were so excited about winning and receiving medals that one could see their expression of joy!

All teams and individuals qualified for the 2025 National Senior Games to be held in Des Moines, Iowa.
All players, coaches and teams should feel proud of their effort, sportsmanship and friendship in this tournament. Thank you to the umpires who managed the games in a professional manner. Special thank you to the volunteers who accepted so willingly and worked so hard. Everyone contributed to make this a successful tournament.
