Peter McKay, 87, of Camden passed away on November 11, 2015.

He spent 23 years in the US Army. Upon retiring from the Army, he worked for RCA in Baltimore, MD. He moved to New England as a missionary with The Navigators, an interdenominational Christian organization ministering to men and women in the military. He served as a missionary in Japan for 14 years. Returned to the US and ministered to soldiers at Ft Sill, Oklahoma for 10 years.

Pete moved to Delaware in 1991 as a missionary with The Navigators to minister at Dover AFB. He is currently involved with The Navigator ministry at Dover AFB in a semi-retired state.

He has been active as a bowler most of his adult life. He has been serving as the DSO coordinator for bowling for the past 5 years.

Mr. McKay was preceded in death by his wife, Hana McKay, who passed away in 2012.  He is survived by his four children:  Tom McKay and his wife Nancy of Springfield, VA, Janis Renz and her husband Mike of Dover, Joyce Erickson and her husband Scott of Highland Ranch, CO and Jeanette Cole and her husband Walt of Virginia Beach, VA; one brother, Louis McKay and his wife Margaret of Katy, TX; his sister Lillian Johnson of Watkins Glen, NY; nine grandchildren:  Amy, Heather, Elise, Matthew, Sandra, Laurel, Jake, Hana and Libby; and three great grandchildren: Jackson, William and Rachel.
