Kids To Parks - May 21, Dover Park on White Oak Road
Hundreds of thousands of children nationwide, including right here in Dover will take part in a grassroots movement to discover America’s parks through play on Saturday, May 21, to commemorate National Park Trust’s (NPT) fifth annual Kids to Parks Day.
Mayor Christiansen recently proclaimed Kids to Parks day in Dover and encourages locals to participate by exploring on of our many parks right here in Dover. “Dover is committed to healthy living and our wonderful parks and recreation areas like Silver Lake and Dover Park provide excellent spaces for outdoor play. I invite all Dover residents to join me outdoors on May 21, for Kids to Parks Day being held at Dover Park on White Oak Road,” said Mayor Christiansen.
A special commemorative Kids to Parks Day is being planned from 11 am – 2 pm at Dover Park, and all are invited to start their day of play there and adventure out to all Dover’s other outdoor spaces throughout the day.
Plan to attend for a great time. Hosted by the City of Dover Parks & Recreation Department and our partners. For more information call, 674-7541.
